What's new

The ever-changing restaurant space in Wayne's Chesterbrook development - which has seen Tupelo, Wild Tuna, Ferretti and Marcello come and go in the last six years alone - has a new tenant. And it has more casual, populist aspirations. It's Dylan's (500 Chesterbrook Blvd., 610-296-1103), a moderately priced American that's a step above a sports bar, with plasma TVs at the bar and in the dining room. Owners are Emlyn Webber, Jeff Webber and Ed Locher; chef is Pat Kenny, whose entrees are $13 to $19. "Dylan" happens to be Jeff Webber's dog, who barked persistently while partners were kicking around names.

Thanks to Jill Morrison at Stonybrook University RAdio Stn for playing various tracks from This Land is Jeffland and for inviting me to be a guest on her show in the future. Once set, I will let you know specifics.

Thanks to the DJ's at WVPH Piscataway who have played cuts from the CD this year and for the music director for putting This land is Jeffland on rotation where I hear it has been for several months.

I also want to thank Morgan Huke at Tufts University in MA for playing a track or two on his show, which I believe is still on Saturday mornings and to Ed Wong from WRSU who has played My Love (the track I do with Stephanie Monticello) at least once that I know of during his terrific Saturday show in New Brunswick NJ which airs from 10am to 2PM.

I will be opening for guitar duo Paul and Zack, other wise known as Cat Weisel at Dylan's in Chesterbrook PA on May 24th. Guitarists Dave Dougherty and Ken plan to be there. If so, I will have 4 guitarists who will accompany me at different times as I recite my lyrical poetry.

Hey all

The show at the Underground (in the bvasement of a church on church street in WestChester PA has been rescheduled for Saturday February 26th. I am scheduled to be performing from 9PM to 9:30 to be directly followed by 5 piece Headliner "Eyetrained Eye"

Others on the bill that night include the songbird from Kansas "Stephanie Hewitt", Rob, a cool singer songwriter with a good sense of humor and "Max and Carl" giving you Robert Johnson tunes and other folk and blues favs.

The show starts at 7PM till 11PM Hope to see you there

Hi all

I have been working on my 2nd CD which will be entitled "This Land is Jeffland". Currently there are 13 tracks, working with 2 engineers and as before many different talented indepentant artists. This time there is a little more instrumentation and also main and background vocals.

I have a show coming up in West Chester PA on Saturday 1/22/05 at a cool spot in the basement of a church known as "The Undergound Cafe". It is on Church Street in West Chester. You can find the address at www.undergroundrocks.org. I will be opening for Untrained Eye led by Dan L. Arena. They are a really good band with primarily upbeat songs in the style of Dave Matthews, Rolling Stones, Peter Gabriel. I am scheduled to perform from 7:30 to 8:15PM.

I performed at the open mic at the Gryphon Cafe in Wayne last night with Josh Kamaroski (or something like that). He is a very talented guitarist, singer, and songwriter. You can hear him soon on WXPN.
